I agree. I had so many thoughts, being an indian man living in hong kong where I have encountered prejudice on a number of occasions. Beyonce sent so many messages, most of all empowering and it hurts to feel that that particular empowerment must be undermined being someone who isn’t who it’s meant for. I believe she speaks for people that are usually not spoken for and that to me is great! It’s not typical, it’s an attempt to start dialogue and it inspires generations to be better than what we are told is right.
