The story of resilience on medium.

I am really thankful to everyone that believed there was something valuable to learn from me on this page. I won’t fail to improve my content or stop publishing. This here is a spark of motivation to continue.

This is worth celebrating to me because it is not just about the numbers. It is about how this process has enabled me to verify the methods that work.

Well, I didn’t start writing on medium 15 days ago. But it was 15 days ago that I decided to write consistently for 30 days, experiment with new methods, and produce more valuable content. And in this post, I will share some of the things that worked for me. I believe if I keep at it, I will soon have a thousand and hundreds of thousands reads.

Here are the 3 tips I used:

1. The Follow For Follow Strategy : -

This method involves searching for authors who have written stories with the keyword “follow me, follow for follow, follow back” on Medium.

1 . Search for them using the search bar on medium.
2 . Follow the author. This is the only way you’d get them to follow you.
3 . Go through their articles & Write a comment.
4 . Writing your own article with the same keywords.
5 . Follow people when they follow you.

2. Write Stories People Want To Read.

I have gone through many stories on medium, and some of the are just random talk about their uncles’ blue bench that had a crack. Stop it.

I understand that some people love reading just about anything. I also know that more people follow people that write what people want to learn about. People are in constant search of an answer to a problem or a difficult task.

For instance, I naturally follow and learn from people who’s story have helped me become a better writer. Number one of them is Awosika Adedeji.

3. Write consistently.

lately, I discovered that my lack of consistency was one of the things that impacted the growth of my account negatively. I have carefully observed writers such as Jari Roomer and Thomas Oppong delivering outstanding content frequently and consistently. And my from research, their consistent publication is a big plus to their large followership.

In conclusion, I am still very uncomfortable with this level. I am not getting any rush of satisfaction. And that is because I want to inform more audience. I want to lead an accurate perspective of my industry and help other writers become better.

I want more, and I am going to get it done soon. The next celebration is at 1000 followers.
