Why Covid-19 is Not a Surprise
This pandemic of Covid-19 can be a sign of the times when fully considering what 2 Timothy 3 says. Bible believing Christians should concur:
Peril in the Land
Timothy accurately described the world today in that scripture. According to Worldometer, nearly seven million deaths have occurred due to the Coronavirus since December 2019. These alarming Covid-19 statistics, the stay-at-home orders that existed around the nation, the crippling of our healthcare and education system all have sent shock waves deep within the core of reality. This virus has quickly changed the life of practically every living creature on earth today. Some people recover and gain back strength while others die or tragically mourn the loss of someone they know. Every continent has felt the sting of Coronavirus. From prisons to the palace, this disease has made us all wake up to the vulnerability of every human being on earth! But you see, it goes beyond the virus that presents an ongoing threat to us. The ever-growing impact of sin in the lives of people on earth is considered perilous.
There is grave danger when it comes to being in sin or living a sinful lifestyle. What is even more sad is the fact that cheating, rape, murder, racism, incest, lying, illicit sexual relationships, stealing, backbiting, jealousy, and coveting have continued through the pandemic, and have never stopped! These activities that are prevalent and are what can keep us out of covenant with the true and living God. Eternal damnation in hell is the ultimate sentence if an individual who takes part in sin can receive. That, my friend, is the utmost danger ever! This applies to every living human being, no exemptions!
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Psalm 9:17 KJV
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Heaven or Hell
The video below is the testimony of a 25 year old male who had opportunity to see both Hell and Heaven. It is meant for man to spend eternity in heaven with the Lord. However, sin makes that impossible. God hates sin. Yet, God is love. He loved us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty for man’s sins.
John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
In this tumultuous time, will it be your decision to be one of God’s sheep that cannot be plucked from His hand? Will you protect yourself against the perilous times in these last days with a face mask only, but forget or neglect to protect your soul? God is allowing us time to accept His leadership in our lives as we surrender to Him as Lord. If you do not know the Lord as savior, please say this prayer:
Dear God,
I am a sinner in need of a savior. I am sorry for all of the sins I have committed. I accept your beloved son, Jesus, as my savior to cleanse me of all of my sin by him dying on the cross as a sacrifice. Just as Jesus rose again on that third day, I accept a new life in Jesus to replace my old life of sin as I walk in accordance to your will, the Bible. I believe I am now saved! God, I thank you saving me from the perils of life!
Safe from All Peril
You now have assurance in your future! If you prayed the prayer of salvation with belief and then confessed your salvation, the Bible says that you are indeed saved. Welcome to the Kingdom of God!
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
These last days are signifying the return of Christ to this earth to collect the church to rule and reign with Him in the new earth. We will not have to be subjected to the further degradation of earth such as famine, storms, wars, or pandemics.
