Six years ago I jumped the fence to become an investor and General Partner at Sunstone. This week I am ready to leap back — wiser, stronger, and happier — into the perils of entrepreneurship.

Leaving Sunstone has not been an easy decision. I am leaving behind the interactions with an amazing group of passionate and skilled entrepreneurs and colleagues; one of the most stimulating learning experiences ever. Yet, I have been longing to get my hands dirty and I now need to sink back into the trenches.

I am not leaving the Sunstone family entirely. I will continue as a venture partner, referencing new deals for — and co-investing personally together with — a fund that I truly believe deserves to be viewed as one of Europe’s most progressive in attitude and outlook. I will likewise continue to serve on the board of the gaming companies that I have invested in.

I am starting something new in an industry, which I am extremely passionate about. Like every other of my startups, also this one will be a green field for me. I have jumped knee-deep into recruiting my team, one of the tasks I’ve always revered the most and will be ready to talk publicly about things in just a few weeks time. “Check your head
