What is ACRONYM?
According to their website, ACRONYM is a progressive organization focused on helping Progressive candidates get elected on both the local and federal level by educating voters through various media outlets and innovative strategies, including the use of Technology.
Tracy McGowan the founder of ACRONYM in a piece she wrote and published on Medium reiterated her motive for creating ACRONYM and unconvincingly tried to distance herself from Shadow Inc and the Iowa Caucus Fiasco. McGowan also did fail to mention ACRONYM’s ties to the Buttigieg campaign as well as her support of Mayor Pete. Pete Buttigieg did go on to win Iowa in a tight head to head race with Senator Bernie Sanders.
Around the time of the founding of ACRONYM, McGowan founded PACRONYM as well. PACRONYM is Super PAC focusing on online add campaigning to get Trump out of office in the 2020 elections.
