General Jim Mattis in his book about leadership “Call sign chaos” gave his opinion about reading: If you haven’t read hundreds of books, you are functionally illiterate, and you will be incompetent, because personal experiences alone aren’t broad enough to sustain you.
In 2020 I've read/listen to 85 non-fiction books that include also reread/relisten a few of them.
