Can you please double verify that why that AMI does not have snapshot Id? According to me, every AMI must contain a snapshot and can’t be deleted.

Yes, there is a way. In the if statement, we have to check that if `name` key tag exists, add in instanceInfo JSON and its value. You will get the instance name in the email.

1. Yes, If you don’t want your instances should be rebooted.
2. According to my research, please try to use `JSON.stringify()` where you are getting this error. Maybe it will resolve the issue. If not, please give me some more logs from which I can identify it.

As you said, you have zipped ‘AMI-backup-and-deletion.yml, index.js, package.json’ files, but the node_modules folder is not included. Please zip node_modules folder with the rest of files.

Package installation guide:

1. Download your lambda code as a zip file into the local computer.
2. unzip it and execute npm i async — -save` in the directory where package.json file exists.
