On Worldviews
The following are the most prominent worldviews of our lifetimes , namely;
liberal; humanism, socialist humanism and evolutionary humanism.
liberal humanism, which believes there is no good or bad no right or wrong, if it feels right to the self one must do it, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and so on….. will lead a human towards acceptance and inner peace
socialist humanism, which believes it is the duty of the state to work for the benefit of the collective, the individual exists or atleast should contribute towards the improvement of the collective mankind and the concepts of personal good or bad , right or wrong are left to the collective bodies wether they be trade unions or the state, will try and create a more just/fair and equitable world
while, evolutionary humanism, which believes some individuals/societies are more evolved than other, some individuals are more important/superior than the other and so on, will lead to more external progress for the individual and the world.
to explain further i will steal an example from this marvellous book named Homo Deus by Yuval noah harari, you can read the example starting at section; “Is beethoven better than Chuck Berry” @
now i find myself to be very lucky to have access to all the 3 perspectives of life, for my present cofounder Sahil is a liberal humanist, while my excofounder Abhishek is a socialist humanist and i along with my best friend am a evolutionary humanist.
And my other cofounder, is a beautiful blend of both, neither being concerned by any of the 3 perspectives and also a great balancer of the 3 perspectives.
Honestly, i have been an evolutionary humanist for a long time and off lately i am understanding the perspectives of a liberal humanist thanks to Sahil, lets see what i become..
