Jourdan Rodrigue

Why Cam Newton’s Sexism Pales in Comparison to His Victim’s Racism.

Carolina Panther’s esteemed quarterback, Cam Newton made a female reporter covering his beat — feel the weight of forced notoriety while disgracefully displaying his macho tendencies — while answering questions of a technical nature.

Yes, all hell broke loose as social media and media outlets gloriously went into overdrive against Newton as they emphatically supported the bruised spirit of Jourdan Rodrigue — who evidently deserved much better than what she was afforded.

Dannon, the famed yogurt supplier — caved into the pressure by cutting ties with Newton as a way to affirm the organization’s stake in the feminist message — that can’t be thwarted by associations with Black men — who know how to turn White women on with the sterility of remarks that aren’t necessarily meant for public consumption:

‘’We are shocked and disheartened at the behavior and comments of Cam Newton towards Jourdan Rodrigue, which we perceive as sexist and disparaging to all women. It is entirely inconsistent with our commitment to fostering equality and inclusion in every workplace. It’s simply not ok to belittle anyone based on gender. We have shared our concerns with Cam and will no longer work with him.’’

Another “big man” on campus is being punished for using his power as permission to enter the panties of the young impressionable actresses — of his time. Like most power-wielding predators — Harvey Weinstein used his empire — Miramax as the venue for streams of pleasure.

This is what happens when Hollywood and Politics climatically intersect.

In Newton’s case — it’s unfortunate how a loose tongue can unleash costly consequences under the umbrella of how White feminism can’t fathom the permanent skid marks of careless banter.

Newton’s sexist remark is appalling without question, but his victim’s soiled past is even more revolting.

Turns out that after minimal digging — it has been determined that Rodrigue isn’t without fault in this game of Black man versus White woman.

The Carolina Panthers reporter took a road trip with her father about four years ago — and what ensued makes Cam Newton look kinda spotless in a weirdly folded turn of events. Rodrigue used her Twitter account to comically detail the racist ranting of her dad — as they both drove through Navajo country — as well as the added bonus of an unrelated response to the poetic use of the word — “Nigga”:

Of course once word got out and outlets ferociously shared the disappointing news — the turned tables forced Rodrigue to issue a heartfelt apology:

“I apologize for the offensive tweets from my Twitter account from 4/5 years ago.” “There is no excuse for these tweets and the sentiment behind them. I am deeply sorry and apologize.”

She sounds sorry as fuck, but for me the damage is done.

When White privilege comes into question — those who can’t stand the generalization — strike back with the testimony of how “not all White people
feel the same,” Yet the same duty isn’t extended when a human being makes a mistake in the full glare of racist America and the henchman that are trained to destroy.

So, now we’re facing a situation that pits a successful Black athlete who is already vulnerable to the impending Whiteness of his riches — against a White woman with the audacity to activate her victimized state at the expense of her worthiness.

Now, we know the truth.

She’s a fraud — who can no longer benefit from the purity of her victimhood due to impeccably bad timing and the belief that White women will always initiate the slaughter of those that dare to attempt the unreasonable.

If Cam had playfully berate a Black reporter with doughy hair and moonless coverings — how would his punishment measure up to what he’s experiencing at the moment?

We must never get to the place where we measure sexism against racism in same day scenarios — but unfortunately, the present times demand retribution from the days of shackled dispositions to the commonality of White women — being the preferred default in a game that allows them to win — even when the losers aren’t relenting.

Cam was wrong as fuck and so is the woman he wronged with the inquiry of his lifetime

But Jourdan Rodrigue is a racist American who praised her father for cracking her up with his special brand of stereotypical offerings that sum up why White privilege is definitely America’s most irresistible indulgence.

She apologized and we kind of get it, but what does that mean in the grand Whitenesss of things?
