Which XI should Mourinho start vs Leicester City?

Jose Mourinho has lost 3 games in a row for the first time since 2002 and the players have let him down to a certain extent. But if you ask me, he is partly to blame. He has still not figured out his best XI nor has he been able to get the best out of Pogba. On top of that, he seems to have no clue about the fitness of his key players — Shaw, Martial and Mkhitaryan are a case in point. And he somehow is reluctant to drop or even sub Rooney despite Rooney playing atrociously poor.

Against Watford, Rooney was out of position during both of their open goals and thus left a wide space in the middle outside the box, did not create a single chance from open play, did not play a single through ball, didn’t take on a single player from Watford, didn’t make a single tackle, played 6 forward passes in 90 minutes and had one shot which was off target.

So, against Leicester City, what should Jose Mourinho do?

Assuming Mkhitaryan, Shaw and Martial are not fit and Jose drops Rooney, I feel there are three formations Mourinho could try. Have a look and give me your XIs and rationale in the comments below!

1.) 4–3–3

2.) 3–5–2

3.) 4–2–3–1
