Men Crying

I recently came across an article which talked about “men-crying”

Every boy is taught to be strong, bold and what not.
“Grow up”
“Be a man”
“Grow some balls”
“Stop crying like your sissy”
“Get a life dude”

He’s been hearing all this right from his childhood to his death. He is blocked from being expressive if he cries.
Are we not taking away the innocence of the kid when we ask him not to cry?

By some senseless logic, we feel that tears and honest expressions will somehow make our men less “manly”

Being emotional does not take away your authority to be honestly expressive.
Be it through your eyes, words or behavior.

Let your emotions out…
Forget where you are, who is around…
You are an individual who lives for his own self.

Be expressive…
Let others laugh…
No one took birth without shedding tears!
