As someone who’s also benefitted from private therapy, expensive drugs, and lots of support from friends & family (while also living with an at-times debilitating mental illness)… I absolutely do not take my own access to those things for granted. I sincerely doubt Mike does, too. Both Mike and myself have fluctuated between having nothing and having a lot (re: financial access to resources).

I am a vocal advocate for improving access to mental healthcare for all, and to making our social conditions less conducive to the alienation that depression and anxiety seem to feed off of so well.
