We have a microservices-based application revolving around social data and would like you to strengthen our front-end and provide the application’s interaction layer to our customers that they love to use. We always like to try out different approaches and respond quickly to our customer’s needs if we detect room for improvement, and therefore highly value decoupled and flexible code and components. You have the opportunity to work according to your preferred tools, your methodology and your ideas.

Your responsibilities ( should you choose to accept them) are:

● being responsible for all front-end web development for all our products through all devices.

● Will be building several web applications. Modularity, flexibility and consistency of work are of great importance.

● Instrumental in creating the best user experience for customers, users and contacts around the world.

Required Technical Skills:

● HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript of course but you are well-versed in technology and are on the lookout for new developments in the world on front-end

●have experience with modern web frameworks or have worked with AngularJS Polymer React.js

●Bonus: If you have had a reactive application in production

Requirements:

● A minimum of 5 years work experience in front development roles and activities with demonstrable, relevant work experience and relevant educational qualifications.

● You are flexible and don’t believe in the 9–5 mentality.

● You can function independently as well as in a team.

● You appreciate quality coffee probably. Or tea. A lot. We will be verifying this within the first round of interviews.

What do you do at Nine Connections?

I’m the front end developer for AiTO Next, our tool that publishers use to decide what content to share on social media. Every day I work on implementing new features or fixing existing bugs in AiTO Next. I also help Wouter, our Client Director, with our Russian clients, which includes translating documents to Russian and doing conference Skype calls.

What is the thing you enjoy the most in what you do?

I like to work with data — in our project, that means charts. The second thing is working with layout. I like that I have the possibility to choose which color to use, or to try different styles.

What is your signature dish?

It has always been the Mimosa salad — a layered salad with tuna, egg and mayo. I’ve been making this salad from the age of 7 or 8. It’s so tasty!

How do you drink your coffee?

With milk, no sugar.

What is a funny habit that no one knows about you?

I like singing in the shower and dancing at home. Considering that I have zero vocal or dancing skills, that is a funny sight!
