Mobile UX Design: User Errors

Nice writeup, Nick. I’ve noticed that no matter how prominent, users sometimes overlook validation errors. Generally we want to design in a way that helps users avoid errors, but I’m curious do you have thoughts on :

  1. Allowing users to submit forms with errors (then interjecting, e.g. with an explanatory error dialog)
  2. Preventing users from submitting forms with errors (e.g. via disabled “submit” buttons)
