Deep in a Pit

We’re in a pit right now
And we’re digging deeper and deeper
Trying to find a magical ladder
that will get us out of it
the view from down here
doesn’t look that good
It seems we don’t get any luck
Just stuck... with no one to turn too
Nothing to get the hopes up
Wondering when we’ll get up
and above

Right now nothing's going our way
Everyday just seems like a struggle to us
Like the universe is against us
Telling us to give up
But we can't stop
We'll have to keep digging
Deeper and deeper
Just to find the ladder
To make our lives better

One day...
I hope dreams do come true
We Get out of this pit
Make it to the top
And enjoy the view up there
