The Castle

It's a mysterious castle of love,
Looks beautiful and scary alike,
A giant maze within its walls,
Once you're in, you may get lost,

Or found,
By its beautiful wonders,
But fate is not all kind.

When I first stepped in,
Magical I'd say it was,
Only later to reveal
The horror within.

Hurt I was, and broken
Burnt but had lessons learnt
Running fast, but I was lost
Broke a window, came out at last.

Now I’m afrad,
To step in again,
For only the lucky get loved,
And the rest get burned.
