[Missing Pages] Fahrenheit 451
Montag woke up with a severe headache. He walked out of the house and found everything outside covered in the white snow. He crossed the road and walked inside McClellan’s house hoping to see Clarisse once again, but he knew the house was deserted. He picked up the half empty bottle of the wine from the parlor and made his way to the backyard. He sat there drinking wine and He kept thinking about the woman who stayed in the burning house. He thought about what Captain Beatty said about books and the duties of firemen. He felt overwhelmed by the events of the past few days. Suddenly he couldn’t breath, he gasped for the air and dropped the glass of wine on snow. He realized what was suffocating him. It’s was the smell of the kerosene. He quickly removed his clothes and threw them away. He stood there naked and after a long time he wanted to look around and observe the things around him. He walked up to the fence and found himself lost in the beauty of the city covered with snow. He didn’t feel cold, he felt free in a long time. He didn’t think about Clarisse, or books. He didn’t care for Captain Beatty or his wife Mildred. All he thought about how in nineteen ninety eight the Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer’s table.
