The sun, the moon and a silly story

That the sun cares not for the moon

that his love for her is but a game he plays

he casts upon her spells and she shimmers

till he despairs and says I love you not anymore

you told me so

that you were the sun and I the moon

but do you see the moon wait upon the sun

conceal her love even on the darkest nights

to offer him all she had saved

all his love to regain

yes, I am the moon and I shall wait in the quietude

for you to glow on me again.
