To hell and back Sanjay Dutt Documentary
As I was under the weather today, I left office early and took an evening nap. By the time I woke I was feeling a tad better, but still not upto my spirits. So when my fiance suggested that we should watch “To hell & Back,” — a BBC Documentary on Sanjay Dutt, I felt an instinctive urge to say no. Also we had recently seen the latest movie “Sanju” and it had left a bitter taste in my mouth. But as I had nothing better to do, I agreed to sit with her half-heartedly. I was sure that I would not like the documentary.
But half minute into the documentary I was totally immersed into the story. So much that I was shushing her down if she happened to interrupt for snack or water.
The documentary is an uncensored and raw sneak-peek into the lives of the father-son duo as Sanjay Dutt finds himself in the middle of the Stardom, drug addiction and a notoriety of being associated which will haunt his father for the rest of his life.
Sanjay Dutt is very candid in his words. Displaying at once his I-don’t-give-a-damn attitude and also the low of spending time in a prison. In half an hour the documentary reveals so much that two and half hour of the movie couldn’t. Don’t miss it. Watch the story in the link below.
