Create Valuable Content to Connect and Engage your Prospects

There are two types of content available on the Internet — “Help Me” and “Entertain Me”.

Most of the Marketing Strategies today revolve around these two questions. Irrespective of business services you provide or product you sell, the website acts as a Mirror’s edge of what you are?

Have you observed the Kho Kho runners who run on either side of the playing court but not on the edge strategically? This is done by the players so that they can sustain in the game longer. Similarly, your website content and marketing should run on either of the two sides of the buyer’s needs and marketing funnel satisfying “Help me” and “Entertain me”.

Making your content as “Help Me” & “Entertain Me” rather than “Interrupt Me” would be a primary focus in today’s Digital Marketing era.

On the other side of the coin “Get a strong hook” to your content.

Fishing does not go well without a solid bait. Similarly, a content without a strong word or sentence that grabs the reader’s attention does not get convinced. The efforts you put into creating a strong hook will likely make the difference between an article that gets read and the one that gets ignored.

Here are some of the tips to get a tantalising hook for your content:

  • Pique curiosity with an engaging question.

Do not include an obvious question something like “Do you want your content to perform better?”. Instead, ask them a question that will give them pause.” Isn’t the future of content marketing bright?”. This question makes the readers pause for some time because the content is like everybody’s job. Content is increasingly at the heart of every business. When content is sinking, it builds a curiosity as to what happened and what’s next solution.

  • Make a statement that relates them.

The World is inviting to share the problems. People are connected everywhere to provide solutions. Be it Quora or Linkedin, the moment you share a problem you get responses from people. And when you share your problems with readers, it will show them that you’re all on the same page. Self-experience is best experienced after all. People also trust you because you have faced the challenge the readers are presently at. When you share the solution, readers more keenly observe that.

Content is a relationship builder for any business. Asking the reader to get them on board to listen is the tricky one. If you want people to listen to you, you have to show up the reader’s present status and future results. In short, call them specifying “ what you are?” and “what you wish to be?”.

  • Start with the end result.

Tell the readers upfront, what they are going to get from your content. People today do not have enough patience to read completely and then know what they get at the end of the chapter. If you provide the results that the reader gets from your content.
