You complete me

For years now, you’ve been a fixed point in my universe. You are my rock, my anchor. It’s hard to contemplate any part of my life without you. I don’t even remember a phase of “getting to know each other”. What I do know is that being with you was the most instinctive thing to do. You’ve been there by my side through the highests of highs and lowest of lows. Not a thought goes through my mind, without a sidenote of “what would Piyush say”.

There was a time when we were always together and I never thought I could last a day without you. When we were leaving Varanasi, it felt as though I was being ripped into pieces. But it did not take long to understand that when it comes to us, distances don’t matter. We were oceans apart, for what seemed like ages and yet the moment I saw you again, I knew that nothing had changed.

Maybe we’ll meet soon, maybe after years but what’s certain is that you’ll always be here for me and I’ll always be here for you. Nothing in my life has ever made more sense than our friendship.

“If you remember me, then I don’t care if everyone else forgets.”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
