It’s not a rationalization, it’s how Google works! It’s a search engine based on an algorithm that considers the meta description + tags on the image, how many times it’s been viewed, the popularity of the website it’s hosted on, the content around the image, etc. — very complex. Definitely doesn’t have anything to do w/ Google’s “inability to see black women as beautiful”. The real problem is that a significant amount of people are tagging images of white women as beautiful, and not of black women. Google images is just a reflection of what’s online, not a selection biased by the corporation’s views.
