Here is my take on that.

A lot of small businesses will continue to use Slack. They might not end up taking paid seats. A lot of Enterprises might even decide to go with Workplace exclusively or with Workplace for Org and Slack for Teams model. The trouble I see there is teams might decide to go for a paid version of Workplace and a free version of Slack. This will significantly affect paid seat growth for Slack. Slack will still have to manage the different team’s 5 GB data at their own cost too.
