You have a great idea, great product or a great service. You feel you have more than just the right recipe to create a highly successful business — but wait, you will need to convince people why your product is a cut above the rest. Why it’s better suited to solve their problems and why they shouldn’t go for your competitor’s offer.

This is basically what makes entrepreneurship interesting — solving puzzles after puzzles.

If you don’t know how to sell; it will be hard to convince anyone to put in their money into your project, it will be hard to onboard a co-founder or partner, it will be hard to keep things afloat if you can’t close a sale with a client. It will be hard. Very hard.

So we do need to learn how to sell… to sell our ideas, to sell our resumes, to sell our portfolios etc etc.

I will give you a quick snippet onto how i do it.

First: I thoroughly study the client — this is the most important step.

Secondly: I prepare my most relevant past experiences.

Thirdly: Practice the attack.

This is how i attack

I believe my offering can increase your revenue with 20 percent every month if you are willing to take your chance with me.

If i fail, which i never do, you will be fully refunded. As a side note, these are the companies i worked with an still do.

My fee is X, you can take your time and see if my fee is worth your investment.

My calculations show that after 4 months you will break even on your investment.

Again, you will be fully refunded if we don’t deliver our promise.

It’s truly not interesting for us to fail. We only make our money, when our client is making theirs.

It’s always been our business model.

This clears any doubt by your potential client. Share your thoughts on selling.
