Cold World…

Cold. Dark. Lonely.
It’s a cold world. True that.
It’s cold out here, where the bitter cold makes the air you breathe turn into ice before it goes down your windpipe.
À cold world it is when the folks are just out there for themselves irrespective of how you go down.
It’s a cold world out here!
And yeah it’s dark too, just like in my mind.

The sun is becoming as rare as world peace, but we need to stay warm. Warm as in physically as much as in my mind.
My mind where lights of priceless ambitions have been dimmed out by the uncertainty and anxiety of the future. But the son of man has to ride on. Carpe Diem! You only die once, right?

Pfffff. And it’s a lonely world.
All around people yet you feel so alone.
One minute you the life of the party and next minute a corpse looks more animated than you. If that isn’t cold, dark and lonely, then I don’t know what it is.
If you ask me “xup?” I’m going to say “I’m doing OK” for that’s what’s up.
Yet it’s cold, dark and lonely.
