non violent drug offenders need support groups; education, job and mental health information to assist them in understanding there are options to be a productive part of society. all lives matter there are no easy ways to achieving life goals… drugs are not the answer, without focused and individualized communication and help too many people get left behind and fall victim to the system. cycling in and out of jails or detention does not seem to cure the problem for these individuals. these individuals need guidance and lead to helpful resources that can be reformative. many cannot be left alone to find their way, where are the support groups that provide resources to help these, often brilliant, individuals find their way in what is already a brutal and competitive society? non-violent offenders need guidance to reengage into the real world. punishment for the sake of rules does not always yield a “scare straight” outcome. people need to be treated as people so they can participate in real world scenarios.
Let’s talk about the criminal justice system
