My Experience in Bootcamp so far

Last night, I arrived at home quite late, reason being, I had a deadline to meet, I had to stop by where I was sure there’d be electricity to meet it. I tried to ignore the slight headache I felt, because I thought I was stressed. To my surprise, I woke up this morning with that same headache. Out of bed I went and started preparing for the day, my mind still uneasy from yesterday’s task. Somehow something didn’t feel right.

The last thing I expected was to see a message from my BFA, telling me my project did not run. I ran out of the house as fast as I could, almost walking the whole distance because transport wasn’t readily available. All the while, thinking of what could be wrong. Luckily for me, while I was in a taxi, I found a simple solution to the problem. I finished the task from yesterday and submitted just in the nick of time. I will admit, I was quite worried seeing that I was loosing precious time, time I could be using to complete today’s task.

Something happened however that lifted my spirit, the task from today seems easier as compared to yesterday. I did not face some of the difficulties I did previously. For example, setting up the project was quite seem-less, although I must admit, I had a little glitch here and there, but all the same, it was quite enjoyable. As I sit and write this post, my mind goes back to yesterday and today. I must admit, I have learnt a lot of new things. This has always been a life long goal of mine; “Learn something new everyday”. With this in mind, I’m excited to see what the next day of bootcamp will bring. My takeaway from today? “You will never be the same person you were yesterday”. You are never stagnant, you are either progressing or regressing. The good thing is, the choice is up to you.

Oh, and remember that slight headache? It threatened to become a full blown fever. Thank God for Artequick.
