He was awed by men who are physically strong , and would like to be like them, and he turned away from the idea to have Sakura Ogami training him in the school setting since He longed to be surrounded by a powerful man to be his role model. In the official art book it is further stated that he wants to be strong, so to be able to protect other people.

Chihiro’s introduction
As Chihiro was a young child Chihiro was weak to be outside playing with his friends. This led him to start playing on his computer to help pass the time. The father of Chihiro, Taichi Fujisaki was an engineer of software who developed several major computer programs, at one point, Chihiro came across an unfinished information-retrieval program on the computer of his father that used voice input. The result was that he created his own variations to it and soon he realized that he was able to develop programs on his own.
Chihiro’s father was awed by his work. As Chihiro realized he had something that he was proud in, he enrolled in programming. He wanted to be a helper and help others, but Chihiro believed he would be useless without computers. Chihiro’s exceptional programming abilities will later be of use in assisting in the creation for the Neo World Program.

Taichi Fujisaki
Taichi is Chihiro’s father . He was an accomplished software engineer who’s work has inspired Chihiro to create himself A.I.s. Chihiro and Taichi had a very close bond, and appear smiling and content in the photograph which Komaru and Toko discover inside his diaries. Taichi becomes Chihiro’s prisoner for Monokuma’s initial motives during his Killing School Life, in which the prisoners were all Chihiro’s loved ones. Taichi’s last words to them prior to his appearance to die is that his only regret is that he’ll never be able to see Chihiro again “beautiful daughter” Chihiro again.
In an uncanon Danganronpa V3’s Ultimate Talent Development Plan event featuring Hiyoko Saionji Chihiro shares with Hiyoko that he got an ornament for Christmas from his father and was embarrassed when the present was delivered directly to school. Hiyoko confronts Chihiro and is envious of Chihiro’s relationship with his father. She asks him to either and accept the present or to discard it. Chihiro is willing to accept the gift and promises to go and show his appreciation to his father appropriately.

Chihiro loved Mondo and believed that he was a great man of power, but Chihiro didn’t realize the emotional pressure Mondo was feeling because of Monokuma’s plan to reveal the secrets of everyone. Before that, Chihiro and Mondo had one of the best relationships they had with one another. Mondo was a strong advocate for Chihiro in the face of Byakuya Togami, demonstrating his disdain of bullying weak individuals. Afterward, Mondo showed another side of himself when he shouted at Chihiro which caused Chihiro to cry. Mondo apologized immediately and pledged to never do it again and also swore to uphold his integrity as man. Because of this Mondo’s apology, he was able lift Chihiro up.
After Chihiro told his secrets to Mondo and said that he was determined to changehis ways, the jealousy of Chihiro’s emotional power led to Mondo take a rage and kill Chihiro with a dumbbell inside the changing room of the boy. After realizing what he’d did, Mondo attempted to keep Chihiro’s secret the longest time possible, by changing the scene and burning his e-Handbook inside the sauna. Mondo was deeply remorseful for having killed Chihiro and felt he was required to pay the price for his actions.
Following Chihiro and Mondo’s death the remaining survivors came across photos of them enjoying a hug and smile as well as Leon.
