Why iRobot
The starting point of the iRobot was the belief that the three founders (Colin Angle, Helen Greiner, and Rodney Brooks) would change the way the robotics industry was working, learning, treatment, and even cleaning. In its first year, iRobot introduced Genghis, a robot designed by NASA in collaboration with Nasa for space exploration. As of today, different robots in iRobot’s portfolio use more than 15 million people around the world.

Key features

iAdapt Navigation
iAdapt Navigation will ensure perfect cleaning of your home or home. The Roomba monitors the room and floor with dozens of sensors, knows where it is, and reacts wisely in 40 predefined directions according to the shape and size of the room. Thanks to iAdapt navigation, the robot perfectly cleans all around the walls, circulating around and under the furniture.

Three-stage cleaning system
The unrivaled quality of Roomba robotic vacuum cleaners is based on a highly functional three-stage cleaning system. Within this system, Roomba literally eliminates the impurities in every corner of the room. It cleans and traps inside the hopper regardless of hard floor or carpet.

1. Swivel side brush
With the presence of a side brush, Roomba can effectively clean around the furniture, on the walls, on the corners of the rooms and in other hard-to-reach areas.

2. Two rotating brushes
The Roomba uses two mutually rotating brushes in the cleaning head. In this way, Roomba collects dirt and dust efficiently. On hard surfaces, the brush carries the dirt directly to the collection basket. When cleaning the carpets, the carpet brush first comes into operation and moves the dirt to the surface and the dirt is stored in the container with the help of a plastic brush.

3. Suction motor
Good dust extraction is provided by a powerful vacuum motor. Air filtration is provided by the AeroVac filter.

Sensors to prevent falling down stairs
The sensors at the bottom of the robot can safely identify the empty spaces under the robot, thus eliminating the possibility of falling down the ladder. The roomba stops, returns and ensures that there is a firm floor under the wheels and then continues to clean.

SPOT program
SPOT is used for regional cleaning. After manual operation of the robot, it will clean the area of 1 m² in diameter. If you want to clean the floor in the kitchen when you pour sugar or put your shoes on, your broom will serve as a “brush and dustpan” for you.

Precision buffer
The sensitive bumper is gentle to your furniture. It can distinguish soft obstacles that look like a bed or curtain, and can effectively clean under the bed or even between curtains.

Virtual Wall Function / Halo
A virtual wall can be defined in Roomba. The virtual wall creates an invisible barrier that the robot will detect. It is used only when you need to clean the reserved area or to prevent Roomba from approaching the electrical or computer cables or fragile objects. Some virtual walls also include Halo, a protective field around the wall. You can put the virtual wall near the food containers of your pets so Roomba does not disturb your pets and does not approach this area.

Automatic charging at the charging station
The charging station is used to charge the battery. The robot leaves the charging station according to your instructions and presses the CLEAN button and will be in contact with dirt and dust. At the end of cleaning, Roomba automatically returns to the charging station and starts charging for the next task.

System to prevent interference
The iRobot is designed to know a normal home life, and is therefore equipped with the ANTITANGLE function, which prevents the carpet from moving to the eaves or cables. The brush rotates the rotation when resistance is felt. In this way, the robot is free of cables and can continue cleaning.

Large capacity hopper
Roomba has a large capacity AeroVac dust hopper that captures even the smallest dust particles using a microfiber filter.
