After over five years of sold out shows, festival afterparties, and incredible surprise performances, The Hoxton — the “Home of the Afterparty” — has finally closed its doors. Clubgoers and local EDM fanatics gave this Toronto classic a final send off at its official closing party last weekend. Fittingly, Hunter Siegel brought the people together for one last Hoxton Saturday at his No Neon event, a tradition that began within the walls of the venue just three years ago. Featuring local fan favourites such as Sleepy Tom, Keys n Krates , and other special guests, the audience revelled in the nostalgic and exhilarating experience of what’s likely to be one of the most memorable parties of 2017. It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to a place that has been responsible for the growth of Toronto’s EDM community, and has made an important impact on Toronto’s nightlife scene by contributing to the careers of many of the most successful people in the industry.

The owners of The Hoxton will be opening a new pub called The Anne Boleyn on Richmond & Peter Street which is expected to be ready for open this month. While we can’t confirm if it will have the same bumping dancefloor and DJ draw as its predecessor, we can be sure it’s not goodbye. It’s see you later.
