Is NodeSwap the next step for green mining ?

Bitcoin’s annual energy consumption alone eats up 0.3% of the entire energy consumption worldwide (with some estimates even going as high as up to 1%). This tremendous amount is the equivalent of 10.5% of the total yearly energy consumption of Australia. If that wasn’t enough already, the energy required to mine Bitcoin is constantly increasing. This leads the biggest miners to look for countries where the electricity cost is the lowest.
Bitcoin cryptography to mine (validate) a block of its blockchain is based on a Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism. This ensures that the network cannot be altered in any way. Bitcoin miners need to invest in a huge amount of computing power in order to have a chance to mine a block, for which they receive a reward currently set at 12.5 BTC.
Given the electricity price difference around the world, the cost to mine a single Bitcoin varies considerably. Nowadays, the production of one unit of the world’s first cryptocurrency requires around 45 MW of electricity (the break-even point as of 18th July 2018 is 0.163$ per 1 kWh), which makes it unprofitable in most countries, as the cost for this amount of energy is higher than the reward. And this is not even taking into consideration any other costs incurred by Bitcoin mining.

Why NodeSwap?
Ecological concerns are now challenging the whole crypto ecosystem. If we want a better future for both the world and for cryptocurrency, there is no doubt that we have to switch to PoS and Bonded Validator System (masternodes) with a low energy consumption profile.
Targeting the use of new “green” energy system to reduce ecological footprint is not really the solution, here at NodeSwap we tackle the problem at source: we are reducing directly the energy consumption!
The NodeSwap’s all-in-one core concept is here to make its contribution to a more ecological crypto mining. Shouldn’t we call that mining 2.0?
NodeSwap’s platform brings to the table masternodes and PoS by making all these new mining methods affordable for any crypto users.
We are Promoting existing protocols! not reinventing the wheel
Masternodes and PoS require a smaller computing power and no expensive hardware, resulting in drastically reducing the crypto mining ecological footprint.
