Winner of the Phi Beta Kappa Writing Award at age 17, she was invited to a series of lectures with top authors and journalists as a Harvard University Nieman Narrative Journalism Conference Scholar. She was a board member of The Association of Young Journalists and a member of The Women’s National Book Association (WNBA), The Publicity Club of New York and Soho House.

She was often on the red carpet, attending the Cannes Film Festival on the Côte d’Azur, ArtBasel in Miami, Oscar parties in L.A. and Fashion Week in New York.

A Miss America contestant (Miss New York City finalist) and a Junior Miss America State Finalist, she used the talent portion of the Scholarship Contest as an opportunity to perform scenes from her writing for live audiences.

At Columbia, she interned at a venture capital firm. She combined her background in writing and finance for clients such as Gordon Haskett Capital, where she covered the NASDAQ and the NYSE as a financial writer and publicly traded companies like Nestor (NASDAQ: NEST), where she wrote annual reports, shareholder letters, business documents and marketing materials.

On a philanthropic note, she is a supporter of numerous charities, including the police who keep us safe. She believes in making the world a better place, supporting #metoo and one day replacing sexual assault and domestic violence with her Healthy Minds and Bodies campaign.
