Get feedback and build a community!

This week, the Audius crew threw a dope listening party here in Hollywood. Producers played indie tracks for each other + gave feedback.

Audius’ Listening Party!

This concept works pretty much anywhere, here’s how:

Find A Venue

Epiphany Space @ Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA

There are cheap or even free venues in your community. Artsy Cafes, Theaters, Churches, etc.

Pick A Theme

Which genre(s)? Who is the audience is it musicians-only, musicians and fans? What are you trying to accomplish?

Invite Artists!

Look around your community for relevant artists, look on reddit, instagram, etc. If you’re a record label like us, invite your musicians on ur roster plus some dope ones in the community as well.

Plan In Advance!

1–3 months in advance please. Everybody gets busy and you want maximum attendance. Send invites out early.

Food & Drinks

Everybody gets hungry and thirsty. Think Pizza, Cupcakes, Beer (or Soda for the underage), etc. Cheap!

Hope that helps you! Let me know how it goes. -Denis Hiller, Label Manager, NoFace Records
