VenueHero Unveils On-demand Venue Booking Platform in Nigeria

With the rigorous process involved in looking for a suitable place that’s going to befit that awesome event of yours. A Nigerian startup named VenueHero is poised in bringing to the table, an on demand venue booking place to Africa. And it’s starting with Africa giant(Nigeria).

VenueHero provides a platform whereby users can confirm availability of their favourite venues, book them and pay the balance, all one one platform. Users can also discover new venues, with the platform listing over 100 locations for different kinds of events in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt.

It also includes a feature that allows a user to pay a deposit rather than the full amount. Various kinds of venues are being listed on its platform which includes weddings, children’s parties, outdoor activities, corporate meetings and trainings. Seemingly, the goal of the VenueHero is to bridge the process of identifying and booking a venue for an event.

The founder, Uche Aniche Stated in a statement that “So far the competition is a group of listing sites that rely on offline, people-based transactions. We are different in that we are building strategic partnerships with the venue owners,”

“Essentially venue-booking is completely different from hotel-booking in so many ways and we understand the terrain and have built and continue to improve on a technology that will handle the intricacies.” He also noted that the startup will expand its platform to other Nigeria cities and also level up its inventory to over 1,000 venues by the end of the year.
