The 100 Day Project : 100 Days of Making
By Brittany Esposito
As soon as we read about Elle Luna’s 100 day project, in her interview with The Great Discontent , we knew we wanted to join in on the making. Full disclosure the idea of doing 100 days of anything or making 100 things was pretty intimidating. But if you’re scared of something you should probably do it, right? Aside from staying on top of a daily submission the hardest part was figuring out what to do for 100 days.
Chris decided to go with #100daysofminizines after making a few for fun, they seemed like a perfect platform for his goofy illustrations. Making 100 zines sounds a bit daunting but luckily they are tiny like, 2in x 2in tiny. Plus his one cut, one page zine making method is basically a magic trick.

After a ton of ideas that seemed too complicated or not sustainable for 100 days, I landed on something equal parts entertaining and cathartic. I decided to go with #100daysofdumbdrinks or #howtokillabarista. My time as a barista has provided plenty of fuel for drawing the absurd concoctions that customers have ordered.
