Coachella 2016: Festival Pop-Ups That Need To Be at the Top of Your List

It’s that time of the year again…

What started as a rebellious movement against Ticketmaster transformed into the most anticipated music festival across America. Every April, over 90,000 people including celebrities, socialites, and even royals from across the pond, travel to California for the electrifying festival, Coachella. The iconic ferris wheel positioned amongst the sun scorched Palm Trees sets the scene for this trendy getaway. Lavish pool parties, and invite-only events transform this festival into an extravaganza. Located on 600 acres of desert land at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, this festival attracts every industry across the board from fragrance to fitness, with the best pop-ups to match. Below, we give you the details on the pop-ups you must visit this year at Coachella.

The Retreat

Taking place during both weekends, The Retreat is a pop-up getaway from the chaotic desert festival grounds. Geared towards health nuts and people in need of a serene time out, The Retreat has you covered from treats to facials. Enjoy healthy bites by FareTrade with a thoughtfully crafted cocktail (or two). Alternatively, coffee, coconut water, and healthy cleansing juices by Healthade Kombucha and Dirty Lemon are being served. Relax and rejuvenate with massages and facials from Caudalie Paris. Get ready in the Amazon lounge with a glam squad on standby, including eyelash extensions from Iris+West. Men can enjoy a fresh cut by Baxter Finley Barber & Shop. Noshes, cocktails, beauty, & style… is there anything The Retreat doesn’t have?

Stop by: Friday-Sunday, both weekends, at Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs

Revolve Desert House

The Revolve House travels to Coachella before heading back to the Hamptons for the summer. Revolve takes it to the next level by showcasing and offering for purchase their best boho-chic attire. This includes an exclusive collection by Nikki Reed & pieces from Alexander Wang, For Love & Lemons, and The Jetset Diaries (just to name a few), as well as beauty goodies from Birchbox. Enjoy an array of food truck bites from surprise vendors, and cocktails from Heineken, Moët & Chandon, which will fuel you up before heading out for the night portion of the festival. Food, cocktails and fashion — the most sought out things at Coachella all wrapped up into one spot. The catch? Guests will not know the location until the night before, ensuring great anticipation.

Stop by: Location unannounced

Don’t want to miss your daily workout regimen? This year, Coachella is offering two pop up gym boutiques on both weekends.

The Sweat Shoppe

The Sweat Shoppe, LA’s favorite spin spot, offers a regular cycling class but in an 85-degree heated room. Think hot yoga…but on bikes. They’re hosting pop-up spin classes so you don’t have to worry about any guilty indulgences you may partake in. Sweat it out on both Saturdays (the 16th and the 23rd) for two classes offered at 9 AM and 10:30 AM. Need more? Do a double and brave the real heat, the desert, shortly after.

Stop by: The Riviera, Palm Springs

If spin is just not your thing…

Barry’s Bootcamp at Coachella

Barry’s Bootcamp, known for being “the best workout in the world,” combines thirty minutes of cardio with thirty minutes of strength training & promises that no class will ever be the same. Followers include actors & models because it is guaranteed you will burn 1,000 calories in the hour. Burn it with their free Coachella classes and leave with a festival survival kit.

Stop by: The Lawn at The Saguaro Palm Springs on both Saturday’s and Sunday’s of the festival.
