As I reflect on this past month, I wonder why certain situations keep reocurring in my life. It is in this moment that I am reminded of my very own prayer. A prayer asking God for a spirit of perseverance. A prayer asking God to mold me and shape me to be like him. A prayer asking for a spiritual increase. Yet as my prayer blossoms into existence, I sit back and question why things that are playing out as they are.
We, as humans, forget that every thing that happens in our life has a reasoning behind it — whether God permits it or God causes it. And whether indirectly or directly, God’s hand is always involved. Let us rejoice, for “we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” -~Romans 8:28
May this be a lesson to us all. May we turn our hearts to His word and incline our ears to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Today, let’s choose to find God’s will hidden under the moments of uncertainty, confusion, sadness and pain.
