Important update for Stripe Charge/Payments Kit

If you’ve purchased the template Stripe Charge/Stripe Payments Kit from Noodlio, then there is a pretty awesome update as of April 19.

As a reminder, this template enables you to set up your own payment server and start accepting payments with Stripe. It also includes an example with Ionic/Angular.

What’s this all about?

We’ve noticed that many of you have faced difficulties in setting up the payment server. Some common pitfalls include understanding NodeJS and the difference between client-side and server-side, setting up the workspaces, and hosting the server on a VPS like Heroku. Also, if you want your server to run 24/7 you have to purchase a hosting plan, which most likely costs you a lot due to unused server capacity.

What’s happening now?

To eliminate these drawbacks and help you focus on more important stuff in your app, we’ve introduced a new API, Noodlio Pay, which enables you to process Stripe payments from your app, website, etc. without going through the hassle of setting up and hosting your own server. The best thing of it all? We manage, test, validate and update the payment server for you.

How can I upgrade?

You can choose from two options:

1. We do the change for you

Simply send over your files to noodlio@seipel-ibisevic.com or reply to this email.

2. Do the change yourself

It literally boils down to replacing 5 lines of code. Read how to do that here.
