I’ve read your writing, all the responses and have culled mine to a few “deep thoughts”. First I can tell you that if you were as good as you indicate there isn’t a sales manager who wouldn’t bend over backwards for you. Soooooo I can assume they already had many times and this was one time too many? Also, you aren’t a very good decision maker as is obvious from how you came to this job. There isn’t anyone in marketing or sales who will ever say it’s easy and you have to love it to do it. Sooooooo you’ve had your taste and you should go back to the “business you started” and so easily left because maybe you were looking for a soft place to land. Anyone who is carrying baggage, (life missteps) as we all have at some time, needs to look squarely in the mirror and say “I have to stop doing this”. Stop being a victim of your own making.
