Human Obsession
It is nature of human that he love to be loved. We are living in the age of self obsession. Our life is occupied with self-interest, self-development, self-image, self-satisfaction, self-love, self-expression, self-confidence, self-help, self-acceptance … the list goes on and I have to abbreviate it.
The word “self” is quite problematic. The meaning of the word self is bundle of relationships. A self comes into being by means of choices and actions that build connections and relationships with the world around us and ourselves. These relations define the nature of individual entity.
Nowadays we just need benefit from each and every corner of earth only for our self satisfaction. we have social interaction but we need to share our sorrow and happiness and we actually don’t care about what other feels. As the world is moving on the basis of rules give and take but the modern man is not ready to give any thing and expecting more and more.
After reading the chapter of famous book “How to win friends and influence people”, i understand if you really want something then you should have to give some things which are our feelings, interest, respect and time.
I accepted this challenge and i talked with my some old friends and then my family. I was not familiar with their feelings. I had no idea of their life goals, their problems, their future and their inner situation. I did not talk about myself too much this time and came to know why Allah bless us with listening power. How much we can learn by listening other. How much they need us.
So in abbreviated form i just want to say if you win friend then you have to pay interest, you have to care them and last but not least you have to love them.
