He’s In His Own Enlightenment
A lesson in spiritual independence
I love his writing. We’re of an age, and we have both been through
The same metaphysic wormholes, each in our own purview.
Teachers common we have shared, and same initiations.
I adore the way he writes of them. I grok the situations.
My spiritual writing is like his! ’twas my foolish wish
That we’d support each other’s stuff, partake each other’s dish.
But he has never looked at mine! Though graciously will answer
Every comment I send in, has never needed transfer
To any writings but his own. No outside verse or ballad
Needs he for his experience to be complete and valid.
A lesson to my higher self I’ve surely not denied;
Perhaps, like him, my own process should keep me satisfied.
