It seems unbelievable that the FDA would fast-track such dangerous treatments without any evidence of efficacy - but that is an indication of how terrified people are of Dementia.

And the people blame our legislators - completely unfairly - for not doing anything about it.

So the legislators force the FDA into decisions like this.

Because many voters will embrace a false hope over no hope at all.
