The Japan Crypto Sixteen
Following their initial approval of eleven cryptocurrency exchanges on September 29, 2017, another five were officially licensed before the year-end by the Japan Financial Services Agency (FSA), requiring an update to our original article from early October.
On December 1, the FSA granted approval to the following exchanges, with only Xtheta, processed through the regional financial bureau in Osaka, allowed to trade more than BTC:
Bit Arg Exchange Tokyo
株式会社ビットアルゴ取引所東京
BTC
FTT Corporation
エフ・ティ・ティ株式会社

株式会社DMM Bitcoin

On December 26, one more approval followed.
