Yeah, this is really great. On the one hand, I wouldn’t change a thing about, say, Merriweather Post Pavilion. On the other, there has been a move toward the mainstream from within Indie Rock itself, and as mentioned here, a coopting of it into pop culture; and neither of these are all bad.
