The legendary Mexican wrestler of Lucha Libre AAA, Jesús Alfonso Escoboza Huerta known as La Parka, died a few hours ago due to a kidney failure he suffered on January 10. Within a few hours he received assisted breathing, but his lungs and kidneys stopped working. The Parka was recovering from a neck and cervical fracture that he suffered in October 2019 in the middle of a fight at the 64th Anniversary event of the Kaoz Lucha Libre Arena Coliseum in Monterrey.

While fighting Rush, Murder Clown and LA Park, La Parka tried to make a Suicide Dive on Rush, but one of his legs was momentarily hooked on the ropes. He fell short with the jumped and fell against the concrete floor. This caused a blow to the head that left him unconscious, being assisted by the ringside staff and later transferred to the hospital.
The Mexican did not feel his own legs after the blow, so it was feared that it was a neck injury. After the relevant surgery, he recovered sensation in his limbs and was discharged at the end of December. The company AAA covered all corresponding medical expenses.
Jesús Alfonzo Escoboza Huerta was born in Hermosillo, Sonora on January 4, 1966. At the beginning of his career, he embodied characters such as Karis La Momia, Maligno, Crater and Beautiful Bells but his appearance as La Parka enshrined him as the maximum reference of Lucha Libre AAA participating in the company for more than 20 years. Among the achievements, he won the Triplemania Cup, the Antonio Peña Cup, the masks of Cybernetics, Giant Drako, Halcon Dorado Jr. and Death Cybernetics and was the main winner of the King of Kings tournament.
