Steak and Eggs and You

The other day I was cooking some tasty food after a good workout.

While cooking I was reading some news. Funny enough, this article (Op-ed) popped up in the feed:

Don’t believe the American Heart Assn. — butter, steak and coconut oil aren’t likely to kill you

Really? I’ve always been told that,

“Don’t believe the hype, steak and eggs may be delicious but they WILL KILL YOU!”

I’m so confused!

The Op-ed shared some studies refuting another article. That article had its own set of studies that refuted the Op-ed.

If you’re anything like me you’re not a scientist. But you can read. All the stats and studies seem to make sense (with all the numbers and graphs and stuff). So who does one believe and trust when it comes to eating steak and eggs and other fats?

When it comes to putting things in your body, like steak and eggs, trust yourself. You know your body better than anyone. And if you don’t, go see a nutritionist. I did. It was expensive but worth it (for me).

The science will be updated time and time again. In the meantime, I will continue to eat steak, eggs, coconut oil, and butter.

Because they’re tasty! And you should to.
