Couple of points. First, this pledge is a load of smoke and nonsense, a marketing ploy to attract media attention and increase awareness and exposure of this date site. There’s no need for this childish pledge because there’s already a method to cease contact with undesirables. It’s called the block button.
Second, the statement that pleasant and polite messages are more likely to elicit a response is patently wrong. The opposite is true. Write a provocative, edgy, even insulting message, and it is FAR FAR FAR more likely to result in a reply. Maybe not the reply you’re looking for, but a reply nevertheless, compared to nothing, when a sweet, charming, smarmy, message is sent.
Get your facts straight okcupid because you don’t know what you’re talking about.
There are a lot of women on this site under false pretenses. Inotherwords they are NOT here looking for a relationship of any kind. They are here because they feel sad and rejected from previous relationships and are simply looking for attention, to have their egos stroked. That’s a fact. Then there are THOSE women whose egos are writing cheques that their looks cannot cash. Inotherwords they’re expecting to attract much much better looking men they is realistically possible. These women are delusional.
Then there are THOSE women who don’t need boyfriend as much as they need a baggage handler. Their every waking moment is focused and obsessed with their previous relationship. They’re useless for dating and have no business being on a date site.
Rather than a sophomoric pledge, the management should focus on the issues I’ve just outlined and others I’ve not mentioned. Dig a little deeper rather than this superficial, simplistic, matter, which already has a solution.
