How security teams can support radical change & digital transformation

I recently gave a talk at the 15th annual Securing the Law Firm conference about how security teams can do more to support radical change & digital transformation. There’s a link to the full slides below but to summarise the key takeaways;

  • Security teams need to climb out of the ivory tower (if they’re still in one)
  • Security teams can and should do more, by simplifying the engagement process and working closely with business partners like IT to get the right guard rails in place
  • Security teams should make sure that risk management, privacy and similar stakeholders are represented and supported
  • Security teams can and should be more collaborative, and lead on the heavy lifting when it comes to modernising services
  • Security teams should use and and every opportunity to modernise and automate compliance and assurance
