1. You like the Phunks?

Yes? Buy one now: notlarvalabs.com
No? Move to n°2.

2. Why dont you like them?

Any of the phollowing reasons:

a)Its stupid. Its not art. Copycats. Beany said so. Only cocks +20cm allowed (smol pepe). -> Buy punkbabies.

b)Cant afford. -> Move to n°3

3. Phunkism isnt for you. Not because your not Phunky enough but because you are poor.

No shit, Im not judging. But its a phact. You read all the cool stuff about phunkism and the narrative is cool and so on.. but you cant pony up the money to ape in.

Dont be phooled, neither phunks nor NFT-Art in general for that matter are solving any of your daily problems (financially). They are all waiting for the next phool to buy it from them at a higher price.

Anyone claiming they're not in for the cash, already made in previous cycles or already have enough money. (Every single one of them!)

As you can see, Im not talking only about phunks, but in general the NFT-Art section.

NFT is not art, its code, offering endless opportunities for the world to become a much better place in daily lifes. If you dont get it now, no problem, you will see it.

What you need to focus on is how to benefit personally from this.

Before getting into the narrative of Phunkism, here some basic stuff for your NFT shit:

  1. Dont try to become famous with NFT Art. Your not special. Its like the guys with fancy cars passing by in the city pheeling all god-mode. But have you actually ever cared about them? started phollowing them? Nope. You where thinking “how can I get this myself” or “he must be dealing drugs”.
  2. Your not a collector. Your not an art critique. Your not a community member. Your just a dude looking for an opportunity. Behave like that. Except if your meme-ing, then go beast-mode.
  3. NFT Art Projects will never have a game, an app, a merch-center or any of the socalled utility that you are expecting. Art Projects are used by creative people to express emotions, ideas, visual knowledge transfer. Its also used by rich people to park/hedge money. If its digital, the maintenance is much cheaper, so that alone is a huge benefit and they will come for this.
  4. If your buying into game development, your in for a whole other thing. This is not NFT-Art anymore. You need solid research, know the devs and most importantly answer the question “Who the fuck wants to play this game?”
  5. Dont listen to friends when it comes to advice on how to invest. Listen to your friends when it comes to caution and to protect your internet stuff.
  6. This spaces eats you up and shits you out. Several times a day. Make sure your emotions watch this from a distance while your reading closely.

Well lets get into it

Pre requisite: you are not poor. If your poor, work and get into a project, then come read again.

Im using the term poor because its true. NFT art/gaming and so on are not for poor people. You cant afford it and thats that. Its a single digit % of the world population that has the luxury to be in the NFT space and spend hours on end lurking on twitter and shouting their mouth to each other. Circle-Jerk so to speak.

So lets say you belong to that Top <9% of the worlds population that is actually able to buy an NFT and spend time researching: Why are you doing it?

Hooby? (fuck you)
Find a chick?(yea right)
Make new friends? (there are better ways)
Money? (fuck yea)

After you make some life changing money. Would you still be here?
If yes. Keep reading. If no, nothing interesting for you will be written from here, go and enjoy the profits, you fkn deserve it after this ride.

Ok. You must be a serious dude or dudette if you arrived here.

Phunkism is for you.

Lets look at Ryder Ripps. Hes an artist (most agree on that). Artist have a gift, they are able to see things differently. now that we have established that you are not poor, you have the luxury to look at this without pressure and your mind at ease.

What Ive see from ryder sofar, (summarized):
- Question the current state.
- Refuse arguments that come as a made up mind. Nothing is done. Art is never finished.
- If there is a winning party in the space, challenge them. Use the rules they have established for all of us and do the opposite/step on them rules.

What ive see from Pauly sofar, (summarized):
- Seize the opportunity to make a name for yourself.
- Every other thing you see from pauly is just the car hes using to get to where he wants to go. And i admit, hes good at it.
- Hes a phunk because he made money and is still here spreading the word and adding to the space, in the capacity he is capable of. So knowing your strengths and weaknesses is a skill that he possesses.

So where do YOU come in?

Wherever you want. Dont phollow him or her. Dont mimic. What is it you want changed in this space from the experience you made during your journey?

Thats where your focus should be. Thats actually were you most useful to the rest of us, because thats the area where your passion will be recognized and your efforts rewarded.

Phunkism critique

You most likely will face some characters that are not align with what you see as a necessary change. Could be they dont like you, could be they disagree and have a opposite agenda, whatever it is. It doesnt matter.

Your take on that should be:

No matter how important, famous or convinced he/she is. If you thought it through and your certain, dont let your mind get distracted by others ideas.

Definition

There is no central office or gathering that dictates what phunkism is. Its your will and actions that create changes in the space you are involved — that makes you life phunkism.

Ok but.. by that definition, why buy a phunk?

Easy, we need a symbol that stands for the definition. Something we can relate to and show. To make a statement.

That is actually also the reason why Im bullish on phunks in regards of monetary value. Richer people will be interested to make a statement for themself, bc they want to be identified as “one of them”. That is done by simply using the tools (money) they have at their disposal to create the link between their actions and the thing they want you to see in them.

Or why else would you buy Gucci, Jordans or Supreme?
Cuz quality is found in other brands as well that dont sell for gazillion $.

Notlarvalabs

Pauly, Ryder, Chopper and Co have started something beautiful, the awareness of phunkism.

But with its popularity increasing, the voice of NLL goes through the regular process of reach and with that the expectable reactions in behavior.

Notlarvalabs is as central as it gets. That doesnt make it “web2” or less phunky. It just means that the content produced by the participants has to be consumed differently compared to the content of an individual person like ryder ripps.

Its not a critique, its an observation you can lay out on plenty other project/ideas etc.

If at some point in the future the phunkism behavior is associated with cryptophunks on a bigger scale, I assure you Notlarvalabs will become irrelevant in the context of driving the movements narrative to further growth/awareness. Its just a tool we will be able to use for the solution it provides. That doesnt undermine its value or intention, just simply shifts the attention it has now.
