Brian, Thank you for sharing all your lessons learned. There are boundaries to every technical solution; a 2tb limit might be obvious to some but not to others. No ONE person or group can be aware of EVERY possible boundary. You are correct in saying that a more appropriate disaster recovery plan would have better mitigated the effects, however it would not have avoided them. As a certified Project Management Professional who teaches Project Management I will be using this article, not a cautionary tale, but as “how to behave” when eventually and inevitably something goes wrong.
